Celeste grew from a love of swimming and, of course, The Little Mermaid. In 2013 Dani had the opportunity to swim as a mermaid for the first time which just fed into the dream of being a mermaid.

Vancouver based tail maker Shop Vancouver Mermaid helped to make this dream come true by creating a custom tail, thus Celeste was born.
